Fifty percent of the profits we raise are donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The remaining money is used to assist local (North East) people with MND and their families by helping to fund much needed home adaptations and disability equipment. Please read some of their comments below and donate to help more like them if you can!

We wish to acknowledge receipt of your donation which we have gratefully received to enable us to have a more suitable stair lift for Heather.

Heather and myself are extremely pleased that the ScottBellFund have supported her in this way, this stair lift is much more manageable than the previous one as it has remote controls and is more suitable for Heather at this stage of her disease.

I can see from your website that Scott was very well thought of and a thoroughly nice person. My heartfelt thoughts goes out to you and your family and to his supporters in establishing the ScottBellFund in his memory.

We both hope it continues to go from strength to strength and we will support you when we are in a better position to be able to.

    Thank you once again,

    Our very best wishes,

    Heather and Clive Castle

I am writing to thank the scottbell fund on behalf of myself and Mr Walker for the very kind donation towards the cost of a stairlift. This means a great deal to Mr Walker and his family as it allows him to retain a proportion of his independence.

    Keep up the good work.

    kindest regards

Thank you so much for your donation towards a bespoke bed for my patient. I am sure we would have struggled to raise the full amount without your contribution. We have been able to provide a young family with not only an essential piece of equipment but also a piece of equipment that will allow them to spend quality time together.

I would like to thank everyone involved with the scottbellfund for their kind donation for hydrotherapy sessions. I am finding it increasingly difficult to walk and this will enable me to take much needed exercise without fear of falling.

    Thank you so much

Dear Louise and all involved in the scottbellfund,

This morning I received a telephone call from Sister Kelly from the MND unit to let us know you have made a donation that completes the cost of the work needed for my husband Bill and I to help us with our disabilities.
Bill was diagnosed with having a stroke in 2013 and had a series of tests over the next one and a quarter years to come to the conclusion it was not a stroke but MND.
It was such a shock as no one had suggested it was anything other than the stroke.
We have now come to terms with the illness with the help from all at the RVI unit. They have been absolutely wonderful.
I understand from Sister Kelly that you have been through this awful illness with your husband and have raised the fantastic amount of money to help others, with a lot of hard work. You must be one of the angels doing good in this crazy world.
I cannot thank you all enough for your generosity and hope you and your family have a good life.

    Thanking you once again.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the scottbellfund for their contribution to helping install a down stairs toilet and a lift to help aid my mam in her everyday life. It will make a big difference and we are truly grateful.

Although I did not know Scott, I have special memories now because of what he created while suffering with this evil disease.
My husband George was diagnosed with MND in August last year and has declined very quickly ever since. We received both Scotts power wheelchair and a donation towards adaptation equipment for my van before Easter. The support from the “scottbell fund” has meant that George was able to go with me on holiday to France which we never thought possible.
I would like to share that Scotts memory lives on helping MND sufferers directly and for this I am eternally grateful to Scott and his family x
